Dear Readers (or lack there of right now);
I know that it's been almost a month since my last post. I sincerely apologize for that. I was SO excited when I started this blog about the luscious men in my life so the experiences can be shared with "my fellow bloggers" (see Fmr Pres. Rich Nixon's speach: "My fellow Americans..."). I know, I know....I'm such a nerd.
Between being sick for 2 1/2 weeks, not seeing my neighbor's "luscious" nephew, Matt, for about a month and not seeing that many men that I could blog about, I didn't post anything. On the plus side, I did see Matt for a mere few seconds yesterday on my way to go pick up my nephew. His professional lawn mowing uncle had the trailer hitched to his (the uncle's truck) with the two mowers, the uncle driving. They pulled out of the uncle's driveway as I was at the mailbox. The uncle waved, Matt barely acknowledged me (whatever, it does NOT matter!). I could hear the uncle yelling & giving Matt such a hard time about barely acknowledging me. On the down swing, that's the only "exciting" thing that has happened since my last post.
When I was visiting family down south earlier in the month, I had the opportunities to meet eligible, "attractive" men who are friends with my two male cousins (who've lived down there their entire lives (one is 31 and the other one is 22 or 23). I hate to say this, Cousins, but you're friends were attractive but not quite up to par to the northern guys that I'm used to (granted, I lived in the south for 2 1/2 semesters when I first started college). Supposedly, I'm too much of a "speed talker" but then again I am from the tri - state area.....of course I'm going to speak faster. Silly boys!
Sure, some of the men I met while down there where almost as luscious as Matt but I chose to stay clear of these "Southern 'gentlemen' & their wicked charms". But here's the kicker, y'all! These so called "gentlemen" were my cousins friends' fathers....some were divoced (gee, I wonder why), very few were widowers and some of them, actually....85% of them are married.
Here's the thing. There's the so called "Bro Code" which most if not ALL guys deny its existence, but there's a "Chick Code". I admit that there is an UNOFFICIAL "Chick Code". Friends' brothers are OFF limits, friends' exes are OFF limits, cousins' friends AND exes are OFF limits, brothers' friends are OFF limits. But I'd have to say that for my personal preference....friends' fathers and cousins friends' fathers (divorced, seperated, widowed, whatever) are a major NO - NO....and majorly gross!! It's NOT nearly as gross as one of your uncle's (male) friends hitting on you.
Thanks to all those that either visited this blog & other blogs I posted and to all those who read my blogs. I do sincerely apologize for not posting anything for a while.
