Overheard stuff that I wasn’t supposed to hear

The other night after dinner, Vince’s sister and brother in law came over and brought dessert with them. During the process of me cleaning up dinner (I was in the kitchen), I heard his sister say that I’m way too young for him and that I’m a gold digger. I grabbed my basic stuff (phone, wallet, etc.) and left. When I got home, I texted him to let him know that I heard what his sister had said. 

Since then, I told him that he’s almost had a child with me so he ought to stand up for me. We’ve been back and forth so I straight up told him that he can still love his sister and stand up for me (that I don’t want his money and that I’m a legal & consenting adult) or he can side with his sister. I explained that if he chose to side with his sister, I’d be done with him. He was rather confused and I said that an 18 year age difference between two consenting adults is normal and he ought to know by now that I’m NOT a gold digger.

Apparently, he’s still “fighting” with his sister about me. I get that she’s his sister and I almost had a baby with him
